Purple Mountain Organics Farm was founded by Nazirahk Amen, ND, L.Ac. and Scott Lastrapes, MD in 2004. This farm is special because in addition to providing Organic food, Purple Mountain offers solutions and equipment that is used to harvest and prepare farmland. They have “evolved from a vision of local food sustainability and helping our patients grow and eat their own food, to a regional enterprise helping farmers grow food by offering the highest quality tools, equipment, and services.”
